We need your help to save our Andy Casey

Andy is a 20 year old boy with is whole life in front of him but on Sunday the 9th July his families world were turned upside down when they got the devastating call to say he had been punched in the head. He was rushed to hospital and placed on a life support machine. The hospital are saying Andy is dead based on failing brainstem test which has been proven and deemed inadequate by the courts due to patients recovery. Andy is defying the odds and literally responding to requests made by the family like put your thumbs up, squeeze our hand he moves his head from left to right when asked to do so. He attempts to breathe on his own and is holding his own temperature. All things a person who is “brainstem dead” should not be doing! Andy's family have not left his bedside and truly believe he can fight through this. Unfortunately the hospital have wanted to play god with Andy's life and have therefore taken his family through the courts to have his life support machine turned off even though he is doing all these things and have video evidence. On the 13th September a judge declared that the hospital could lawfully turn his life support machine off, this was of coarse appealed by his family and taken back to high court were today (27th September) was refused.
