A severely neglected cemetery at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery in Bluewell, WV has become a personal concern. The roof leaks on to the crypts and floors. There is significant dirt and mold which has caused an extremely pungent smell. The road leading up to the cemetery is not even being minimally maintained. Regulations are needed on the maintenance and upkeep of cemeteries to protect consumer purchases such as headstones, lettering and crypts. Additionally, health department inspections at least every six months would be beneficial for the certainty that bodies are buried/entombed respectfully and environmentally safe.
