[1] We, the undersigned, hereby petition for the immediate revocation of the medical license of Dr. Kayoko Kifuji. It is with great concern and outrage that we bring attention to the tragic case of 4-year-old Rebecca Riley, whose untimely death was a direct result of Dr. Kifuji's negligent actions.

[1][2] Dr. Kifuji, a psychiatrist, prescribed a combination of drugs to Rebecca, including clonidine and Depakote, without any clinical trials for use with children. These drugs were administered by Rebecca's parents, who tragically used them to intentionally cause her death. Despite the parents facing murder charges, Dr. Kifuji was allowed to resume practicing medicine after a grand jury decided not to indict her on criminal charges.

[2] The evidence against Dr. Kifuji is damning. She diagnosed Rebecca with bipolar disorder and ADHD at the tender age of 2, a highly controversial and questionable practice. Her reckless prescribing of medications, without proper clinical trials, resulted in Rebecca having three times the lethal amount of clonidine in her system at the time of her death.

[2] It is deeply unsettling that Dr. Kifuji voluntarily gave up her medical license when the parents were charged with Rebecca's death, only to regain it last year. This reinstatement is a grave injustice to the memory of Rebecca and a severe betrayal of the medical profession's duty to prioritize patient safety and wellbeing.

We implore the relevant medical licensing authority to thoroughly investigate this case and take immediate action to revoke Dr. Kayoko Kifuji's medical license. Her actions have demonstrated a complete disregard for the ethical responsibilities of a medical professional, resulting in the loss of an innocent child's life.

Justice must be served, not only for Rebecca Riley but also to ensure the safety and trust of future patients who may be placed in the care of Dr. Kifuji. We demand accountability and justice for Rebecca and other potential victims who may be at risk due to Dr. Kifuji's continued practice.
