Stop Juvenile Life without Parole!! Help Release Terriel Mack serving life since seventeen

The Issue

Mr. Mack was sentenced to Life without Parole at the age of seventeen for a murder indictment in 2003. He has served which will be twenty years this December of 2023 he will be Thirty-seven years old. As a juvenile Mr. Mack faced many hardships growing up in a poverty- stricken neighborhood in a single parent household. He was raised only by his mother, who worked hard to support him and three smaller young brothers with no avail of a father figure to help him learn the necessities of being a responsible young man. It seemed inevitable to avoid the many daily negative peer pressures of gang activity etc., that ultimately landed at the steps of his front door. Due to the lack of resources and outlets in his community many of the youth were deprived normal developments instead turning to the streets and gangs for support. Unfortunately these choices lead him down the wrong path and landed him in a prison cell with a life sentence and no parole. Mr. Mack has then accepted full responsibilities for his actions and is deeply remorseful to the family and victim. He has spent more time behind prison walls than he has in society! Mr. Mack now wants to come home and provide a network of support systems through a open door facility for young men who too are oppressed to poverty- stricken neighborhoods. He believes that in the event providing resourceful positive role models and father figure roles centers to the lost youth in the community, can definitely cause a dynamic change in crimes amongst the youth. In doing so adolescent teens can build up self esteem to believe they as well can be successful no matter what background they may come from. Mr Mack wants to get a second chance so he can make a difference in society. As a juvenile offender at the time he really did not understand the legal system process nor had the financial stability to help him get a fair trial and was unjustifiably given no chance to ever be released as a young teen. Please help him!!! As someone that can relate to  these young man or young ladies too he believes he can make a major impact and continue to pay his debt to society!
