Hiiii, my name is Madison Wood, and I’m starting this petition in hopes of making something incredibly personal and important to me come true.. Meeting Billie Eilish, the person who unknowingly saved my life. Billie’s music has been my lifeline. Her voice, her honesty, and the way she carries herself with both power and gentleness have helped me through some of the darkest, loneliest moments of my life. She’s not just a celebrity to me, she’s someone whose art made life feel livable again. I had the chance to see her live on October 9th, 2024 in Newark, and I swear I’ve never felt more alive. There was a moment during the show where she looked straight at me while singing a lyric that hit me HARD. It was like, just for a second, she saw me. That memory has stayed with me every single day since. And now, I’m seeing her again on October 23rd in Philadelphia for the next leg of her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour. I’ll be there, screaming every lyric, crying my eyes out, and hoping maybe, just maybe, I’ll get the chance to meet her backstage or during the show. I don’t want a viral moment or a selfie to flex, I want to look her in the eyes and tell her thank you. Thank you for existing, for helping me, and for being the light I held on to when things felt too dark. This petition is my shot. If enough people sign and share this, there’s a chance it could get in front of her or someone on her team.
