Help Me 2 Overturn My Wrongful Conviction due to Falsified Documents and Planted Evidence

The Issue

I am a resident of Missouri, USA, and for the past decade, I've been a victim of planted evidence which led to a wrongful conviction. This false accusation has led to me being labeled as a convicted felon for five years. This unfortunate event has not only tarnished my image but also instilled in me a deep sense of defeat, despair, and entitlement .

Every passing day is a struggle for me as I battle against the stigma of my wrongful conviction while simultaneously grappling with severe mental health issues. These conditions have taken a toll on my mental health, robbing me of my happiness and leaving me feeling suicidal.

This specific case raises serious questions against the legal course taken. However, my situation is not unique. Innocence Project estimates that between 2.3% and 5% of all prisoners in America are innocent, with some of these cases originating from Missouri (Innocence Project, 2021). This means that currently, there could be over 2,000 innocent lives undergoing unnecessary hardship.

The officer responsible for my false conviction has since been promoted to a detective, thus raising concerns over the integrity of our legal system. I have already spent several years attempting to clear my name and prove my innocence, with the likelihood of running out of time before achieving this goal.

This should not happen to anyone else, and therefore I am pleading for comprehensive legislative action. Together, we can push for an inquiry into my wrongful conviction due to false evidence and ensure justice.

Please sign this petition to help overturn my wrongful conviction in Missouri due to falsely planted evidence and encourage transparency and fair judiciary. Your support could not only free an innocent person, but it could also restore faith in a justice system that has been plagued with doubts and distrust.
