My friend, who is a lifelong Manchester United fan, finally got the chance to visit Old Trafford last year to watch a match in person.

Though the overall experience was broadly positive, with a memorable stadium tour, it took a sour turn when she had an anxiety attack midway through the match and did not get adequate support despite her and her mom asking the staff and stewards for help.

Eventually, it got so distressing that she had to leave the match before it ended.

Mental health awareness is on the rise, especially on football clubs social media and player interviews, however actual actionable steps are often lacking, as demonstrated in the above case.

As one of the biggest clubs globally, Manchester United has a duty to provide the best and safest match day experience for their fans who invest money and time to support the club. 

And having a system in place, with actionable steps, would certainly help in this regard and help the club to deal with similar situations as outlined before.
