Hey Glenwood neighbors! As a local childcare provider and resident, I’ve seen firsthand how unsafe our sidewalks and streets have become—especially along North Walnut and West Florence Avenue. The broken sidewalks make it difficult to take young children on daily walks, and potholes force cars into the center of the road, creating dangerous situations for pedestrians.

I’ve had children trip and get hurt on these sidewalks, and pushing a quad stroller over these rough areas is nearly impossible. This also limits our ability to visit the library or participate in the summer meal program—important resources for our community’s kids!
