Help Launch an Attorney General Investigation into Traveler's Insurance Company

Help Launch an Attorney General Investigation into Traveler's Insurance Company
The Issue
As a full time caregiver for my 87-year-old handicapped mother suffering from advanced Alzheimer’s, I have had a first-hand experience of heart-wrenching injustice. Our home, a condo, sustained significant water damage leading to the presence of dangerous airborne mold. To our horror and surprise, we found ourselves battling against the insurer we trusted - Traveler's Insurance. Despite our desperate situation, Traveler's is refusing to pay to repair this damage.
My mother is now stuck in a nursing home where she faces abuse, exposing her to unspoken horrors simply because Traveler's is failing to fulfill its basic responsibilities. Imagine the anguish of first losing your home, to then witness your mother endure abuses, all the while feeling unheard by an entity that, at its core values, promises to help people manage risk and recover from the unexpected.
While Traveler's Insurance and its CEO, Alan Schnitzer, enjoy significant financial prosperity, with Schnitzer earning $23 million last year alone, policy holders like my mother and myself are left suffering. This, to me, comes across as nothing short of defrauding the very people they are supposed to protect.
There is a need for immediate investigation into the actions of Traveler's Insurance, its CEO Alan Schnitzer, and its board of directors. They must be held accountable for their actions, or rather lack thereof, if they can callously overlook the plight of an 87-year-old woman and countless other policy holders.
I write this petition, not just for my mother, but for everyone who has suffered because of these unfair practices. It's time to stand against such exploitation. Please sign this petition, raise your voice with us and shine a light on this apparent injustice. We cannot fight this alone. Your signature can force a much-needed change.
