We need your help!!  The City of Fontana has given us formal notice and has asked us to close and vacate our dinner theater, TIBBIES CENTER STAGE FONTANA, by August 31st, 2022.  We have successfully operated this venue for 14 years and want to continue providing the joy of live theater to the community.  Over the years we have employed hundreds of people both on and off stage, from kitchen staff to performers and everything in between. These jobs will all be  lost if the theater closes.  Additionally as the last remaining classic dinner theater in Southern California, our loyal patrons and the residents of the community will not have access to the arts which has been proven to enhance the quality of life in the communities that it serves.

We have tried numerous times to renegotiate our contract with the City of Fontana and have even agreed to do so without operational funding from the City, but even with this, the City has still decided to shut us down.

There has been no explanation given as to why they want to do this.  We do not know their future plans for the venue. Could it be a night club? A community center? We simply do not know and we have offered to assist in helping to develop a revised vision for the venue, but alas no response has been received.

This has been our passion project and labor of love to both the community and our performers since we opened in the summer of 2008.  We helped to design the facility, have maintained it's historical beauty and have been an integral part of the community and it's organizations since we opened.

Will you please help us let Mayor Acquanetta Warren and all of the City Council Members in Fontana know that you want to keep the doors of TIBBIES Center Stage open under the management of Todd and Jennifer of Stargazer Productions by signing this petition?

P.S.  At this point we are hoping to, at the very least, stay open thru December 31, 2022 thus allowing us to close out our season with our most popular show - "Holiday Follies".  Even that would be a gift.
