Tuesday night 5/17/22 inkwell coffeehouse of longbranch NJ announced through Instagram they would be closed for good as the owner sold it and was ready to move on. The closure was very sudden and unexpected with hardly any warning to its patrons or employees. This place means a lot to me as well as many others in the community it’s a landmark in long branch and has been around since the 60s. It’s a beloved icon to a lot of us and there is no other place like it in New Jersey. this place is like a second home to us. We strongly believe this business should continue under new life and carry on not only for its current and past patrons but also For the next generation to come so they can experience “the inkwell vibe” so please sign and share this and help us #saveinkwell
