Growing up just down the street from a Chili’s, I have countless fond memories tied to the welcoming atmosphere, flavorful food, and unbeatable value the restaurant offered. Chili’s was more than just a place to eat—it was a part of my community, a reliable go-to for comfort, celebration, and connection.

Earlier this year, I relocated to Tacoma, Washington. While adjusting to a new environment is never easy, one of the biggest surprises I encountered was the complete absence of a Chili’s anywhere nearby. In fact, the nearest location is in Spokane—over four hours away. Meanwhile, I’ve counted at least three Applebee’s locations within a ten-mile radius. While I gave them a fair chance, the experience simply doesn’t compare—especially when it comes to value, quality, and favorites like the beloved Triple Dipper. You just can’t replicate that elsewhere.

I believe that the Tacoma area—and the greater western Washington region—would enthusiastically welcome the addition of a Chili’s. With its affordable options like the 3 for $10 menu and fan-favorite dishes, Chili’s offers a dining experience that resonates with families, students, and everyday food lovers alike.
