Although October is deemed "Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention" month, there is still no action behind the words.  The gesture is nice, however if one were to visit www.InPowHER.com you can see this is still a pervasive problem.

Congressman, OUR Women should not be forced to flee the Commonwealth or their own homes when they are unable to get protection from our executive branch and Judiciary.

I emplore you to go visit this website, read the Notes, read the Discussions, read the Wall posts.  If this were your family, could you stand by and do nothing?
