Now that the Company 'Everyone Active' will be taking over Westway Sports and Fitness management from the 1st November 2016, we, the Squash member’s of Westway and the community wish to propose an additional Squash court to be developed in place of the Ladies changing room in Westway Sports and Fitness club or to move the Squash courts to the Westway tennis site where a potential four new courts could be built in place the basketball court at the back of the centre.

It has become increasingly difficult to book a court at peak times due to demand and not enough courts, therefore with the huge investment Westway and Everyone Active are proposing this would be an ideal time for this work to be included within their plans.

The Squash courts was one of the first sporting facilities provided from the Westway Trust back in the 1970’s and we hope to see them continue and grow.

This beautiful game has given fitness and enjoyment to so many people over the years and these courts are a community treasure so please show your support to this cause!
