🚸 **Important Safety Concern: Petition for Speed Reduction in Front of Waubra Primary School** 🚸

Hi everyone,

I wanted to bring to your attention a serious safety issue we've been facing on the highway in front of our school. As you might know, there was a near-miss incident involving a child last week, and this is not the first time—there have been two other near misses earlier this year. 

Given the danger, there’s a growing community push to have a school zone implemented or at least a general speed reduction on that stretch of road. It’s alarming that Learmonth, with no kindergarten or school and two service roads, has a speed limit of 60km/h, while our kids are at risk with an 80km/h limit.

To address this, I’ve placed a petition at the school, kindergarten, Waubra General Store to advocate for a safer speed limit in front of the school. I will also drop one at the pub tomorrow.
