case needed for July 2009

Lucia is a mother of 14 year old daughter.  Lucia works and is a student. She has been homeless since 6/2005.  Lucia was living in Santa Monica.  She was not able to pay her rent because her husband was using drugs heavily and took all of the rent money.  He left her and she was evicted.  Client stayed friends until she went into a transitional housing program in 12/2006.  Client stayed there until 4/2008.  Client has stayed with friends when she can and in motels and shelters when she cannot. 
Our agency applied for a Section 8 voucher for client through the City of Santa Monica’s Housing Authority.  Client was awarded a voucher on 5/28/09.  Client has now found a landlord that is willing to rent to her.  Client is now in need of move in assistance.  Client needs $800 to move in, however anything that your agency could assist with would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
