Help Grant Dunkin Employee’s pay Rate to Increase to $17hr and Receive Better Benefits.

The Issue

   I would like to start this petition on behalf Of All Dunkin Workers, All Dunkin employees are impacted by their Employment rights and labor laws. Dunkin Donuts is a Multibillion company whom net-worth is 8.7 billion and to give us tons loads of work for very little pay and not enough benefits. For Example when Covid first Hit in 2019, everything was stopped everyone lost jobs starting in 2020 when everything started to resume slowly Dunkin Donuts started doing contactless ordering like introducing Uber eats, door dash, grub hub, and mobile ordering for pickup orders while still attending customers who decide to order in store all while dealing with upset customers because they would have to wait for the their in store order not knowing that mobile ordering comes in every other second so we would have to move at a extremely fast pace which messes with employees mental health and physical health not to mention the horrible management lead by managers who don’t train employees the proper way, we work with a shortage of employees and are told to just handle it, some of us are even forced to takes shifts that we should not even have to take some come into work while being sick on the job knowing that Dunkin is a food environment and Customers health are at risk, cleaning the machines at work that “Managers” are suppose to clean since they don’t teach that to any employees but yet we still have to clean them with out any knowledge. They expect employees to attend Red-Book which means checking temperatures for mostly everything, measuring weights of products that are dispersed from machines to receive the accurate weight which I feel like All Managers should be responsible for because not all employees have a Food safety or the knowledge. And Us as employees can’t take customers orders, complete the order, stock up, clean, attend mobile orders and Ubers while ensuring every guest receives their order the correct way. Another reason we want this petition to pass is for Dunkin Benefits, most companies don’t tell their employees that we can receive 401-k, family paid leave, 40hrs vacation pay and sick pay. We want more then these benefits Starbucks for instance gives their employees College tuitions a Higher paying wage as well as time and a half and holiday pay, they are LGBT+ friendly and help support IVF for women who can’t conceive , as for Dunkin we Get ZERO. We would like if Dunkin could help support their employees by granting us tuition pay, receive a 30 minute break instead of 15 minutes and receive pay for it and also offer Loyal Employees that been with the company for 3 plus more years 80 hours of vacation pay. Every Employee Employed by Dunkin should receive Holiday pay Sick pay And Time and a half as well as Tell them the labor rights when they are hired!. 
       If things change not only I myself but everyone else who agrees with this petition and deserves to be heard would extremely be appreciative, not only because we would receive our pay and benefits but because we would not want any one who works for Dunkin going through what we are going through today. If we get Heard we would no longer have to suffer working with a shortage of employees or working doubles and not receiving overtime pay. We just want to get recognized and get paid for the work we love to do Dunkin isn’t just a grab and go we attend to our customers with love and care. If things doesn’t change and stays the same it just proves to us that our voice doesn’t matter and we’re just being used and manipulated. With that being said I love my job and it would disappoint me and my fellow other Dunkin Employees that’s on the same page as me.
        It’s time to act now because we all have a voice that needs to be heard. I’ve personally been working since 2014 and never seen a change in the company even when Covid hit. It was life or death, and they didn’t speak on how Dunkin workers were forced to work throughout the pandemic without extra pay knowing our life could’ve been in danger. The amount of work Employees are left with with no manager help isn’t fair for $15. The prices have been increasing dramatically and the pay rate has stood the same over the years employees are stressed out dealing with all these types of issues and no one to really run to. Our life shouldn’t have to run on Dunkin we all have our own life to go home to at the end of the day the bills are hard to pay with little to no money working hard for no pay. AMERICA TRULY RUNS ON DUNKIN, BUT PLEASE DONT RUN OVER YOUR EMPLOYEES hear our voice and help us get what we Deserve! So we are asking the community and the Employees of All Dunkin Donuts Around America to start this petition.
