San Francisco has around 6,000 homeless people on the streets, and many mayors have tried to solve this issue. Over the past 40 years, homelessness has grown all around the US, especially in San Francisco, because it is very easy to be homeless here. There is good weather, and the city pays for the homeless people to live there. Creating more shelters would be a good solution to some homelessness in San Francisco because it would allow more people to get the tools they need to recover. Once this petition gets 1,000 signatures, it will be sent to the mayor of San Francisco to have them create more homeless shelters.
