Petition to Reopen Our Community Pool

 

To the Property Owners and Management,

 

We, the undersigned residents, respectfully but firmly request the immediate reopening of our neighborhood pool.

 

For more than 50 years, this pool has been a valued part of our community. Every summer, it serves as a gathering place for families, children, seniors, and neighbors, with more than 300 residents enjoying it during the five months it is open. It is far more than an amenity—it is a tradition that has brought people together for generations.

 

Closing the pool takes away one of the few shared spaces where our community can safely gather, exercise, and build relationships. Many families chose to live here with the understanding that the pool was an established feature of the complex. Eliminating access significantly reduces the quality of life for residents who continue to pay to live in this community.

 

We ask management to:

 

- Reopen the pool as soon as possible.

- Clearly explain the reasons for its closure.

- Provide a realistic timeline and action plan if repairs or maintenance are required.

- Communicate openly with residents about the steps being taken to restore this important community resource.

 

We believe that a neighborhood with a history as long and proud as ours deserves to preserve the amenities that have made it a great place to live for over half a century. Hundreds of residents should not lose access to a facility that has served this community successfully for decades without every reasonable effort being made to keep it open.

 

We respectfully urge management to listen to the voices of the residents and take immediate action to reopen our community pool.
