OUR DOGS NEED YOUR HELP!!!!! PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION AND BRING JUSTICE TO A COLD-BLOODED DOG SHOOTING  In Spring 2023, our sweet loving family dogs were shot in cold blood by a neighbor in congested city limits. One dog had her face blown off by the 9 mm Smith & Wesson and had to be put down. She was only 19 months old at the time and had been adopted from the Humane Society. Another 9 mm bullet blew a large gaping hole in the other dog's neck, narrowly missing his chest plate and carotid artery, traveled 14 inches, barely missing vital organs and lodged in the rear of his body. Luckily, he survived after emergency surgery. This dog was only 3 years old at the time of the shooting. The dogs had been lifelong companions and were like two peas in a pod. It's a category D felony to torture, maim, mutilate, kill or disfigure a dog belonging to another. The killer also stated in a statement that he does not like dogs!!
