I created this petition because De'Anthony is my very best friend and he has had 14 years of his life taken away by being wrongfully convicted of murder of his best friend; Junior, Junior's sister, and Junior's dad.  This is his best friend we are talking about.  He was convicted of killing him.  He never even got a chance to grieve for his friend before he was whisked away for his murder.  This was a case of black versus white where white has always won.  I am a white woman advocating for a black man because I believe that all lives matter but this man is important to many people.  He has no possibility of parole and his family and son miss him.  His son is a grown man now.  De'Anthony was robbed of seeing his son grow up and he had to try and parent from behind bars.  They need him back in their lives.
