Explaining their mistake and how it helps us: https://youtu.be/xRy-gvq07RQ

Heys guys,

Ofgem are looking to increase our bills for about the 25th time in the last two years (no i'm not exaggerating, check out the table at the bottom of this article: www.over50smoney.com/Home+Bills/Energy/405__Ofgem+Director+wife+held+shares+in+Big+6+energy+company+for+almost+2+years+during+energy+crisis). They're looking to add £17 a year to our bills to cover extra bad debt suppliers are seeing in the industry.

I'm actually a little excitable in the video because i genuinely think they've made a mistake to the tune of £100m, which massively narrows the £250m gap they're showing!! I have a meeting with them tomorrow where i'll discuss the mistake i think they've made, plus my other points which includes the fact that they're trying to make us pay extra because suppliers have incurred costs by the ban on involuntary prepayment meters thats in place... they broke the law and got banned from that practice until new rules could be put in place, why the hell should we pay for that?! They break the rules, they suffer the financial burden of it!

Anyway, give that video a watch, I'll update you tomorrow or early next week on the outcome of this meeting and my response to the consultation questions they've asked. I'll also ask you guys to get in touch with them too.

Finally, if you want to get involved with the other consulation they have live at the moment, on the additional wholesale cost allowances then you have until the 23rd to send your response. Below is the article i wrote with my response in it, hopefully that helps.

Thanks everyone, have a great weekend.
