As a new community in Rosharon, Tx, many new home owners are being slammed with expensive and ridiculous water bills. Members of Caldwell Ranch community are being hit with water bills of $160 some all the way up to $600! Households of 2 have water bills through the roof.  Community members are being told that there are flat fees for 10,000 gallons plus $2.75 per gallon over 10,000 gallons for both water and sewer and $5.01 per gallon for NFBWA surcharge ending in ridiculously excessive monthly bills.  Not only that they are trying to add outrageous county taxes on top of our regular taxes at the end of the year. In the economic situation we are in today the average household already struggles and having water utilities that even exceed electric bills only adds to the stress of an already squeezed economy. Please sign this petition in an effort to get Fort Bend County and MUD District 3 to reevaluate and lower the excessive fees for water services and County taxes.
