Twin Lakes Owls Lose Boulder County Vote On First Day of Fall ****Can you help tonight? (5 minutes or less to send a quick email) The Great Horned Owls almost won a vote for their survival last week on Weds Sept 21. In the end a Boulder County Planning Commissioner left early to catch a flight. Then the commission voted 4 to 3 to bulldoze the most important owl habitat in all of Colorado to make way for 280 apartments. 2 days from now on Tuesday Sept 27 the three Boulder County Commissioners will vote for or against the Owls at Twin Lakes.
