Twin Lakes Owl Open Space
16 Feb 2016
Can you attend tonight's council meeting? Or write City Council an email? council@bouldercolorado.gov (a second email is fine - many thanks to those who have already written) Despite hours of testimony earlier this month calling for the creation of open space and the Boulder Great Horned Owl Preserve, the majority of the City Planning Board voted in favor of further study for the development proposal and creation of the owl preserve. Our next best chance to stop bulldozing of critical wildlife habitat that key to the survival of the soon to be hatched young owls if for City Council to vote No on Feb 29 to the development proposal. Our last chance to speak to City Council is tonight's public comment section of the meeting - on Tues Feb 16th 2016 before the council votes on Feb 29. Please click this link to go to the Owl Preserve Meetup to attend and find out more about alternative locations for the development proposal that would better serve resident: http://www.meetup.com/BoulderOwlPreserve/events/228891161/ Thank you for all that you are doing to help create the Owl Preserve.
