Our skateboard, bike, rollerblade, and scooter community need a GOOD environmental skatepark, we STRUGGLE trying to find places to ride and have fun besides the two very small skateparks in hampton/ newport new area. our indoor local was the only good park in between the two, and it devastated us all when it closed, leaving very few with something to ride in front of their house or in the streets. the ONLY TWO skateparks are woodland skatepark (hampton) and riverview (newport news) the rest of the skateparks are at least a 25 minute drive across both bridges. these skateparks in our area have so much space around them and potential that could actually be thought through by the local skaters/scooter/ and bike riders around the area, building a better and bigger skatepark would influence the youth into going out more and learning about themselves 

if things change and we actually get skateparks built around this area, kids will have another outlet to go to so they can have access to something closer to them and safer. they need a place to make friends and make more fun memories as a kid and every kid should do. KIDS NEED MORE AREAS TO HAVE FUN AND BE SAFER AT. (theirs a lot more too it but it will be a whole essay).

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS MESSAGE AND SIGN THE PETITION FOR MORE SKATEPARKS IN HAMPTON/ NEWPORT NEWS. WE SKATEBOARDERS AND OTHERS NEED TO TAKE ACTION AND GET THIS PETITION OUT THEIR, we need more fun environmental skateparks that help the community get away from trouble.
