For a glass artist, a wide color palette is a must. For die-hard specific brand users, you're limited to only what that glass company creates. Many fused and blown glass artists are limited to the COE (Coefficient of Expansion) that is offered to them, most times with limited options for the bright, bold, and beautiful. This petition is in hopes to change that. We are in NEED of an expanded bold and bright Gold bearing color palette: PINKs & VIOLETs!

Our amazing glass company Oceanside Glass & Tile  with its Oceanside Compatible 96 COE products give us MANY amazing options from dark to light colors, transparent and opal opacities, glittery aventurine, spotted spirit, wispy continuous ribbon in Fusers Reserves, and much more. Many glass artists are Oceanside Compatible die-hard fans due to their glass having a smoother flow and having a beautiful shiny finish without fusing for stained glass and mosaics.  But there is no translucent or opalescent, swirls or spots of the colors in the Pink family.this petition is here to show we want to change that!

There has been a constant hohum of conversation asking, "does this come in pink?" Answering, " We just don't have pink available to us in 96 coe." It has been a repetitious forward and back conversation for stained glass & mosaic glass artists, Warm glass (fusers with a kiln) and Hot glass (blowing and lampworking with a flame) artists. Murrini makers making beautiful options mixing what they can of the purples available and ONE opal powder pink option in Aqua-Rose Pearl Opal that is currently offered is beautiful, but because it's the only option, is frustrating and limiting. I hope there is a way to change that. This is why we are passing around this petition. 

Gold bearing glass is very expensive to create, and we understand that. But gold is needed to provide our glass community with the brightest and most pungent pinks and violets like light pink, hot pink, cranberry pink, fuchsia pink, violet, ruby pink, gold purple, gold pink, rose violet, pink lavender, salmon rose, peony pink, the list can go on and on. As this petition will prove, there is a following, there is a want, stores and glass warehouses are on board and are willing to stock these colors if they're made. “If you build it, they will come?” Lol
