Help bring justice to Nahesha

Help bring justice to Nahesha
The Issue
On December 12, 2025 , recent FAMU student Nahesha was celebrating graduation with her pageant sister.
The pageant sister invited Nahesha out for lunch including three other women and two men, all of whom only know the pageant sister. Nahesha woke up from that afternoon outing in her bedroom with no recollection of how she had gotten there. She felt something off in her private intimate areas and immediately contacted one of the men who attended the outing. Jaaquari Washington, then admits to having intercourse with Nahesha. She emphasizes and explains that she did not want to have sex with Mr. Washington. Quickly scrambling to find answers, Nahesha calls the pageant sister to which she explains what transpired that night. The sister explains that they all left in an Uber XL ,Nahesha was completely out of it and ordered Mr. Washington to help her get in her home. She states that Mr. Washington was the most sober out of the group.
The pageant sister goes on to explain how after leaving Nahesha’s residence and arrived at another location, Mr. Washington then decides to “call it a night”, excusing himself from the get together. He goes home, he showers, he changes clothes, he then orders a Uber back to Nahesha’s place of residence. According to Nahesha’s report, Jaaquari Washington left Nahesha’s home unlocked after assisting her inside when the group dropped her off. He later entered the residence without permission, went to her bedroom, and sexually assaulted her. Ring camera footage shows activity of Mr. Washington entering and leaving the home.
Our dear friend Nahesha needs your help and support. She is counting on us to bring more awareness to this situation to help further her case and investigation, hopefully resulting in accountability and course of action.
We urge community members, organizations, and activists to unite in seeking justice for Nahesha. Let us send a strong message that our community does not tolerate injustice and that we stand united behind every individual who has been wronged. Stand with us in urging those in power to rectify this situation by signing this petition. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that justice is served.
