The Issue

Bobby Thomas has been incarcerated since he was 20 years old. He has been in the NDOC since 1981. He is now 63 years of age, soon to be 64. He has been incarcerated for the past 44 years. He was sentenced to 2 sentences of  Life Without the Possibility of Parole. At the time of his conviction, Bobby had no prior criminal history. We as a society must not be okay with throwing our youth away. Scientists have proven that the true age of maturation is 25 years of age.

We must end mass incarceration and excessive punishment in Nevada, challenging racial and economic injustice, and protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in society, Young Black Men!

Bobby and his family are requesting an opportunity at a 2nd chance. A chance to be heard by the Nevada Pardons Board Commissioners.  Our request is for clemency resulting in a commutation of sentence, to a life "WITH" the possibility of parole, or better yet, credit for time served.  Hopefully, this will result in an immediate release.

Please sign this petition in support of Bobby Thomas gaining his freedom after decades in prison.
