Help ban the advertising of the 'Genie' Hourglass during family movies!
The issue
Sitting and watching a family/cartoon movie on Sunday 21st Feb 2016 at around 8.15pm I was horrified that Global Shop Direct advertised the 'Genie Hourglass'. A piece of apparel that will give you 'a slimmer looking' waistline... A similar product was banned from being advertised in the UK. It is a corset like piece of apparel that will 'train' your waist into an 'hourglass' figure. My 4yro decided she wanted to wear one to kinder tomorrow..... She does not understand what this contraption is, but noticed enough during the advertisement to want one 'to cover her tummy' This is horrifying! This kind of product should not have been shown during a family/cartoon movie! Join this petition to stop advertisements that are clearly aimed at adults and not children, being aired during family movies/cartoons.
