Help AZ Notary & Fingerprinting Become a Passport Acceptance Facility
The Issue
Currently, in Casa Grande, there are only 2 locations where you can turn in a passport application to be processed. City Hall and the Post Office. In Pinal County, There are only a total of 10, only 2 of which have handicapped access and have photos available on site. These are not enough locations to handle our growing population.
The average hours for the post office and city hall are Monday to Friday 10 am to 330 pm.
These locations are by appointment only and are booked out for 6 weeks or more. We need a better option.
If we are allowed to become an acceptance facility, we would be able to not only accept walk-ins but also accept applications for processing within our full business hours of 9 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday. We are handicap accessible, pet friendly, and have passport photos available for purchase with no appointment as well. This would alleviate the demand on the other private sector locations and allow our community to have easier access to this service.
Please add your voice to the growing list of Casa Grande and Pinal County residents demanding that the US Department of State allows AZ Notary & Fingerprinting to become a passport acceptance facility!
