The city of Helotes is refusing to allow the monthly outdoor market to resume. Small businesses rely on the market to draw consumers to their establishments. If the businesses in Old Town fail we run the risk of our unique town being turned into another strip mall, Old Town is  a place where people know your name, and to lose it will make Helotes just another generic suburb of San Antonio. Every single other outdoor market has resumed, there is no logical or legal reason that the Helotes market has not revenge allowed to start up again,
