Give all frontline workers in Direct Provision the right to remain in Ireland

Give all frontline workers in Direct Provision the right to remain in Ireland
The Issue
Many residents of direct provision centres are working as caretakers during this #COVID-19 crisis. They are working tirelessly to keep the elderly, the disabled and the sick safe, often risking their own health.
At the same time, many of them risk not being allowed to stay in Ireland, which causes enormous stress and heartache.
As a country, we need to show our appreciation and give these people peace of mind. They deserve the right to stay in Ireland.
Working in this COVID19 environment is very stressful. The least we can do is take the extra pressure of an uncertain future off their shoulders. I am sure their employers would also applaud this measure.
Please share widely.
