During this time of pandemic, we all know and expect our healthcare workers to be armed with the best protection possible, because they are exposed to the public constantly. This is true for employees in grocery stores who also don't have the option to self quarantine. Masks (even simple ones with just a couple of layers of fabric) can greatly lessen their risk of infection (by stopping them from touching their faces and by preventing droplets in the air from entering their noses and mouths. Once an employee is infected and continues to work, that employee puts every one else (customers and other employees) at risk.
