Our unhoused community members need a permanent and stable solution to hotter summers and colder winters. Heat strokes are lethal, and we must protect our community from sweltering temperatures this coming summer with a cooling station. We cannot sit idle and let our community suffer from climate change. Having a cooling/heating station in the county will provide a direct location for safety from unexpected weather extremes.
