Reduces costs - Rising health care costs are crushing the budgets of governments, businesses, individuals, and families, and they must be brought under control

Guarantees choice - Every American must have the freedom to choose their plan and doctor - including the choice of a public insurance option

Ensures quality care for all - All Americans must have quality and affordable health care

These are the principles we need to ensure are in any Healthcare Reform Initiative.

No longer can we tolerate people in need who cannot afford insurance wandering around an emergency room not to be treated or see a college kid who is over 25 and can longer be covered on his parents policy be uninsured if he needs insurance and can't afford the Cobra payments or see people suffer unable to go to a doctor for treatment because they can not afford the pay for insurance. Everyone should be able to be insured.
