Healthcare reform, now
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100,000!
The current Senate health care bill fails to cover all Americans, to provide serious reform and cost reductions, and to establish a public option. Private health insurance adds 30% to the cost of health care, making the industry itself a large part of the problem. As a consequence, true reform is unlikely without a publicly operated insurance plan that can provide competition to private insurers. Don't let the dempublicans totally collaborate with the remocrats, now, the healthscare industry bail-out bill is bad enough as it is! They'll say it was a "couple bad apples" (Martha and MA dem leadership), and a "perfect storm" (the MA remocrat candidate, and and the MA teabaggers, being smart enough to never call himself, or themselves, those poisoned brand names; and their spinning the anti-Bush rage into anti-incumbent rage- and the dems allowing all that), that gave the rest of the late, Honorable, Senator Ted Kennedy's Senate seat term to a racist, sexist, classist, teabagging remocrat, BUT, we know better! Now, the dems think they'll 'get away with' crashing the mediocre to poor bill by blaming it on the rems and a purported need for more "bipartisanship", which they all almost sunk the country with, almost destroyed our and the global economy with- and, now they're insisting "we must all go down with the bipartisan ship", we say NO. They can get the House to pass the Senate version of the bill, as it was passed by the Senate already, and then put it on the President's desk to be signed, now; well before the 10 days to certify Mr. Brown's election is up- let them hear you, NOW! And, stop Stupac Amendment, and any variations there of. As well, no trigger, because triggers don't get pulled, no co-ops, or hammer; also must include anti-trust provisions. Also, please, advocate for singlepayer healthcare, with Community First Choice Option and CLASS Act (Community Choice Act for the handicapped, elderly, autistic, disabled, etc.); H.R. 3200 & S. 703, with Senate Amendment 2837. Yet, I urge you to pass the current Senate health care bill, now, and demand that both the House and Senate develop future bill changes that will insure all Americans, include an effective public option, and lead to true reform and cost reduction.
