Our current state of pollution is an international crisis and its lack of response by all governments is a violation of all human rights, specifically as outlined in the Framework Principles of Human Rights and the Environment as established by the United Nations Human Rights Special Procedures, 2018.  Every being’s health has been placed in dire jeopardy. The failure to properly and effectively prepare, inform, protect and cohesively work together by all governments for the sake of people has directly affected every human being on the planet. Scientists have consistently warned of the dangers and consequences of widespread disease (COVID19) and contamination of food air and water. This impact is not just on a physical level but also mental. The effects of Pollution have furthered our already mental healthcare crisis worldwide.  

We live and have always lived in a biosphere. We will no longer pretend nor ignore that we as a human species affect one another and our environment.  The health of our planet directly mirrors our own health.  All governments must be held responsible for the care, dignity, health and human rights of all people.  

We demand the United Nations to formally vote and accept the Earth Charter, (established March, 2000, at UNESCO headquarters in Paris and launched on June 29th at The Peace Palace in The Hague, Netherlands.) as Rule of Law for all governments to redress the consequences of the facts denounced. Failure to do so will ultimately cause our own human extinction.  By voting Earth Charter as Rule of law for all nations, countries would have to comply with the International Health regulation’s core competencies for the health and protection of all beings as well as improve the current environmental crisis our Mother Earth is facing.
