Havering council to replace the old oak tree at the entrance of Harrow Lodge Park

Havering council to replace the old oak tree at the entrance of Harrow Lodge Park

The Issue

Between Sunday the 4th and Monday the 5th of May the old oak tree at the entrance of Harrow Lodge park was cut down due to having a crack in it, we are asking that Havering council re plant a protected oak tree to replace the one was cut down.

Ancient trees are vital for wildlife and need caretaking and preservation now more than ever. Local residents were given no notice that the tree was coming down and many of us are devastated. In light of the Sycamore Gap and Whitewebb oak travesties we are asking for restorative action from the council to help preserve our beautiful green spaces.
