The publicly-funded Haverford Township Free Library has promoted Ringling Bros. Circus for the past few years by providing free advertising for the circus prior to its arrival in February.  In addition, the library sponsors an on-site event featuring clowns from Ringling Bros. Circus.   The library does not allow equal time for the opposing view of animal circuses and in fact called local police to remove local citizens who were passing out educational leaflets on the public sidewalk in front of the library.  

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus has a long and well-documented history of abusing animals. No one should be promoting them until they stop using animals!
