Some kids of Mountainside Middle School including myself and some friends, think that there should be a district-wide recess day on the day after Halloween. We think that the SUSD school board should make a district recess on Tuesday, November 1st, because most of the kids grades 1-12 will probably be full on candy and tired from the night before. Some if not most of the kids might be up later than a normal day, and maybe not learn as well as they would on a different day. 

This would also be beneficial for the teachers, as they would have a "personal reflection" day. It would be nice for a day off, and they wouldn't have to deal with all of the candy that would be eaten and thrown around by all of the kids the day after.

I think the parents of these kids would be happy too, because they wouldn't have to get their tired kids up in the morning.
