Every morning, I open the news hoping not to read about another girl or woman becoming a victim of violence. Sadly, those stories appear far too often. Like many people, I want a future where children can go to school, travel, work, and live with greater confidence and safety. This petition is my request to make practical self-defense and personal safety education a mandatory part of every school from classes 2nd onwards in India for all but especially for the girls, like every other subject that our children studies at the school.
