Last year Hastings Council voted to support and promote an official friendship link between Hastings and Al-Mawasi.
Thank you to everyone who supported the campaign. This symbolic show of solidarity is greatly appreciated by our friends in Al Mawasi and is a powerful commitment of ongoing support for everyone in Palestine suffering under the Israeli apartheid regime.
On Saturday 17th Jan the Hastings & District Palestine Solidarity Campaign, whose members initiated this campaign, are holding their AGM. One of the sessions will be dedicated to discussing how to support Hastings Friends of Al Mawasi in deepening the links between our two communities and continuing our town's phenomenal fundraising efforts for Gaza over the last 2 years.
