In 2019, Hasbro released the first two waves of their six-inch "Power Rangers: Lightning Collection" toyline, as well as store exclusive figures of characters like Goldar at GameStop stores and two-packs of figures, such as the Fighting Spirit Mighty Morphin Green Ranger and Mighty Morphin Putty Patroller.  Of the eight figures released in the two waves, only one female figure was released - Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger with an alternate Kimberly Hart head.

In 2020, the names of the characters for the next three waves of six-inch figures were leaked online.  Of the next three "Lightning Collection" assortments, only two of the twelve upcoming figures (rumored to be Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger and Ranger Slayer) are going to be female characters.  Only one female villain, Rita Repulsa, is being made into an action figure, but as an exclusive two-pack with Lord Zedd at GameStop stores.

We, the fans, would like to see Hasbro release more female characters for the "Power Rangers: Lightning Collection" toyline in 2020 and beyond.  Whether they are six-inch figures that are sold-separately, store exclusives or part of a two-pack, we would like to see more female Power Ranger figures and female villains from the various "Power Rangers" series made into action figures.  We, the fans, would also love to see Hasbro make first-ever six-inch action figures for female characters from the "Power Rangers" TV series, such as Scorpina and Madame Woe from "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers", Astronema, Psycho Pink Ranger and Psycho Yellow Ranger from "Power Rangers In Space", Trakeena from "Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy", and Vypra from "Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue".
