In 2017, a reboot of the phenomenal franchise, Power Rangers, was adapted into a modern day superhero movie. Mildly successful in it's own right. Fans from across the world went to the theaters, and others eventually watching it for the first time on Blu-ray. While some people may not have enjoyed it, the majority of the Rangerverse enjoyed every bit of it.

Recently learning, while now under the control of Hasbro, as the movie was owned under Saban, does not plan on making a sequel to the movie. Instead, they are planning to reboot it again. They also plan on recasting, as they don't want to bring back the cast from the 2017 film. This is a bad call, because while we became attached to the cast, they have gone on to very successful careers (Dacre Montgomery - Stranger Things | RJ Cyler - White Boy Rick, Scream | Naomi Scott - Aladding, Charlie's Angels | Ludi Lin - Aquaman | Becky G - A-X-L, music career. The movie itself was very good, and it had great elements in it, as well as a very good plot. Also, there were a few cliffhangers that many were hoping a potential sequel would have covered. Hasbro should make a sequel to at least end the short movie franchise, and if they feel like rebooting the movie, they are more than welcome to. However, let the fans of this movie and of the franchise itself get closure from a film that most people enjoyed.

The goal of this petition is to reach Hasbro, and let them witness the amount of people who wants a sequel to the 2017 Power Rangers movie with the cast/Rangers from the movie. Help them change their mind about their decision to reboot the movie for a third time. Continue on with the 2017 film, and make a reboot later on down the line. Let this franchise have a proper ending.
