This petition aims to get technical support and updates reinstated for the Furby Connect app. I am looking for your support in this endeavor. 

Furby Connect is an electronic interactive toy from Hasbro. While it is possible to play with it on its own, most of the fun and functionality of Furby Connect stems from its interactivity with the iOS and android app, released in 2016. Hasbro and Apple had signed to continue support of the app into this year; however, many functions of the app have now been discontinued. These functions include: caring for Furblings (baby Furbys virtually living on the app), watching and reacting to videos in the theatre, playing minigames, updating your Furby Connect, and having your Furby Connect learn and sing songs. Without these functions, the play value of a Furby Connect is reduced significantly.

I am writing to Hasbro and Apple to request that they restore the app to full functionality and to continue creating new and interesting updates on the app. Think of all the bright-eyed children who received Furby for Christmas three years ago, who have become fascinated by their mechanical friend, only to be disappointed that they are not able to play with it as much anymore. If no more updates are given to the app, children will grow discontented and bored with Furby and may even discard them. This reflects the brand in a negative way. For a more positive experience, Hasbro should continue support and provide more fun and enjoyment for everyone instead of allowing their products and services to grow into obsolescence.
