One of my family members works at Harrods London. The most famous department store in the UK. There have been 2 positive COVID-19 cases amount the associates and they are still not closing the store completely. Employees are not allowed to wear faced masks and gloves during working hours to protect themselves and others. So far only the head office workers are allowed to work from home. But the retail workers are still working store hours. Please note this is a luxury department store. Yes, there is a food hall but I don't believe it is essential to have caviar during a pandemic. Good job to Selfridges already closed down until further notice. It is because Selfridges has built a better e-commerce clientele and they are not depending greedy for 'tourist money' like Harrods. Please sign this petition for Managing Director Mr.Michael Ward at Harrods to reconsider. This is a very serious matter for the UK and global public health.
