Harlem River Ferry Stop East 138th Street FDR Drive

Harlem River Ferry Stop East 138th Street FDR Drive
Why this petition matters

An extention to the NYC Ferry waterway to Harlem and the South Bronx would be amazing. Benefiting the residence on the upper east side of Manhattan and the Bronx would be essential for the daily commute and activities. One of the docks would rest in East River Park with a walkway that leads to 5th Avenue and 138th street. The next stop would be (Bronx Terminal- Mill Pond Park- Yankee Stadium) that leads to residential, shopping and local attractions.
The NYC Ferry stops in northern Manhattan on East 90th street and the FDR Drive .With daily construction in the neighborhooring South Bronx ,extending the route up the East River can also be beneficial to the new residents in local areas.
NYC Ferry operated by Hornblower, is the newest way for New Yorkers and visitors to “Work Live and Play”. The ferry service connects the New York boroughs of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and the Bronx to provide critical transportation links for areas currently underserved by transit and connect them to job centers, tech hubs and schools in and around New York City.
NYC FERRY
Water Under The Bridge Festival held on East River Park's Greenway is an event including music, vendors and local topics that can allow residents in the community to get involved and gain signatures to potentially get boat sailing. This ferry is one of the hidden jewels of NYC.
Would you be willing to help this ship sail or sink.I would love for you to get on board.
Best Regards
