Just weeks after a Hammond Police Officer was filmed hitting his K-9 partner several times, for no obvious reason, Hammond is rocked by yet another disturbing case.

An officer from the Hammond Indiana police department is accused of discharging his weapon in the face of an innocent dog. The dog’s owner recalls everything: “Lilly was standing on the side of the house alongside my two boys (aged 7 and 11), my daughter (16 years old) and my baby boy, 11 months old. We have put up a sign and flags right next to our front yard, warning everyone that Lilly is on the premises. She is confined by an electric fence and flags mark the point up to where she can reach, which is the middle of the yard. The police officer jumped out of the blue from his vehicle, took his gun out and fired at my dog, right in the face, in front of the children and neighbors. He never said anything before this!”
