Spring Glen Civic Association:

We oppose the application for a Zoning Regulation Amendment which would allow multi-family residential development on the property at 55 Connolly Parkway in Hamden CT. Multi-family housing on Connolly Parkway will increase traffic through the Spring Glen neighborhood. It will also further congest the intersection of Connolly Parkway and Dixwell Avenue, affecting pedestrian safety and adding traffic concerns to the already long list of concerns. Additionally, we are concerned that a high number of residents and traffic just yards from the Mill River would disturb the ecosystem and the wildlife on the River, and downriver on Lake Whitney, which is a valuable natural resource and open space in southern Hamden.
